Our Guarantee
MedadTrans provides explicit guarantees on quality and delivery dates.
In the event that you aren’t satisfied with a job, we will provide another version as soon as possible at our expense. In the event the second version is still unacceptable, you may be entitled to a partial or total reimbursement. Below are the conditions and procedure for contesting a job.
General Sales Conditions
MedadTrans applies these general sales conditions to all jobs it carries out for its clients.
Translation order: Translation orders must be accompanied by an order stating the price agreed upon between the parties. Orders must be sent to us by regular mail or email; we reserve the right to refuse to begin a job without one.
Reference documents: Technical documents shall be accompanied by reference documents supplied by the client and/or drawings or diagrams that provide a better understanding of such documents.
Pricing unit: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, translation costs are calculated based on the number of words in the source language.
Cancelling orders: If a client cancels an order, all work already performed will be billed at 100%, while work that has been suspended will be billed at 30%.
Payment: Invoices must be paid within five working days from the date they are issued, unless otherwise specified.
Late payments or failure to pay will lead to immediate collection of the entire amount due from the client without prior notice or other formalities. MedadTrans must reimburse the client for any expenses incurred to settle the case.
Late payments will result in the suspension of all in-progress work and orders.
Liability for translation style: For any translations that are not stylistically satisfactory, MedadTrans will not be held liable. Our liability shall be limited to the amount of the invoice.
Complaints: The company will only consider complaints received by registered mail with return receipts or by email within seven days after delivery of the job(s) or part of the job(s). A complaint must be accompanied by the original documents, disputed translations, and an explanation letter. The translation shall be considered correct once the above period has expired.
An error in one part of the translation should not be used as a reason to question the entire translation. MedadTrans reserves the right to make changes to the translation in such cases.
MedadTrans agrees, at its own expense, to deliver an edited version of the disputed translation within a timeframe equal to one third of the previous deadline for the job, plus one business day, if a complaint is made within the established deadlines. MedadTrans will judge the quality of the translation using this second document, at its discretion, to determine the reimbursement amount.
A delay caused by malfunctioning fax machines, modems, email or other mail or carriers that are not directly controlled by MedadTrans will not be the responsibility of MedadTrans
The parties agree that a reimbursement will be paid in cases where the job is delivered late by more than one third of the established delivery time, and in cases where the delay is directly and solely the fault of MedadTrans, up to a maximum of 100% of the job delivered late.
Only written agreements between the parties will be considered. The Egyptian Court has jurisdiction over all disputes. Without payment, all representations or reproductions of such translation will be deemed illegal. A client who uses unpaid material will be asked to pay MedadTrans immediately for the translation and to compensate MedadTrans for copyright.
